Attendance

In New South Wales, attendance at a NSW public school is compulsory for all children between the ages of six and 17. Parents or carers are legally responsible for ensuring their children regularly attend school. Regular attendance is crucial for a child's education, helping them to learn effectively, build friendships, and improve future life and career options.

If your child is absent

To notify the school that your child is absent, you can create a planned absence using your School Bytes Parent Portal. Alternatively, you may  report the absences by phone or email, however, the parent portal is the preferred method. If your child is absent and you have not notified the school we will send you a SMS that you can respond to via a link provided by the school.

If your child is late

If you are late to school your child will miss roll call. Please bring your child to the office so that we can sign them into school.
